Yasuto NAKANO (Assistant Professor, Kwansei Gakuin University) / Akira FURUKAWA

This program has taken over the international exchanges, which started in the twenty-first century COE Program of 2003-2007. We plan to give open seminars in Tribhuvan University (TU), as one means of academic exchange and offer opportunities for the graduate students of TU to learn advanced research methods. Coordinating these seminars may enable graduate students to cultivate the skills of international academic exchange.

Expected participants of the seminar are graduate students and young researchers who have already set each study case and the subjects of research, and intend to master quantitative analysis (using the application software "R"). Specific themes are (1) the research problem and its quantification, (2) data collection, (3) description and visualization of data, (4) analysis and visualization of the relationship, and so on.
